Petite Lady in red likes to read

Hey Petite's!

If it doesn't come in your size, make it your size: you might remember this Eddie Bauer skirt from Halloween pics below, but I plan to wear more often, I bought it at Housing Works on 23rd Street for $10 (Loved the fabric) and was 4 sizes too big and a lot longer, and had the tailor take it in and hemmed above my knee, and the extra fabric from the length makes for a perfect scarf too :) also today was reading some of Chanel: A Women of her Own (great book) which you can find at BN.com or Amazon.com :)

One of my favorite little things this week is my new Mighty Mini tweezers from Sally Hansen! Picked them up at Duane Reade yesterday evening.

The reviews might be poor on their site, but in my opinion these little suckers ROCK, I used them last night and my eyebrows are looking nice! Perfect for the model beauty bag and anytime for girls on the go. Put it in your clutch for travel bag this summer!

Favorite Little Thing: Mallory Musante's shoes rock!

(Mallory Musante and Me, my iPhone takes crazy pics, I know!)
Hey Girls,

I met the artist Mallory Musante of her namesake shoe brand, Mallory Musante Shoes, at her Shoe and Tell trunk show last night at http://www.ruianyc.com/ (65 Mercer St. in SoHo).

And her hand-painted shoes rock!

Mallory was promoting her bridal collection and the colorful shoes would make a unique and memorable bride or bridesmaids shoe, but I could see them pounding the pavement any day as well.

Mallory takes custom orders and you can check out the work she's done, her collection and shoe gallery here:  http://mallorymusanteshoes.com/blog/

Favorite Little Thing: Alba Deep Sea Facial Masque at Ricky's

Hey Girls,

My favorite little thing right is Alba Deep Sea Facial Masque, nothing beats stress like a face mask. We live these very go, go, go lives and it is nice and important to give yourself (and your face) some TLC. You can check out the masks at Ricky's stores or at Rickysnyc.com

Having nice skin is an asset to a shorter model, don't rely on the makeup artist to "clean up" your face, because even though there is Photoshop and all that jazz, it is best if your face is already clear and clean. You might not be giraffe tall but by taking care of your skin you could still book modeling jobs with lifestyle brands and print modeling campaigns and editorials in magazines for health and beauty.

Aim high and strive on,

~Isobella
