Remember FUBU?
In November 2009 there was an article in WWD about FUBU making a comeback, however i think the brand should be marketed as FOR US BY US. The sound of FUBU sounds like bunny fufu, or in other words, really bad.
The sound of FUBU might be something certain consumers remember, but they are also ten years or more older now. They will most likely strive for new customers as well.
However I think for the brand to come out again successfully it needs to have a sub brand name or just use the name FOR US BY US. We are also a society that loves meaningful headlines and titles, and brand names. For example, like "7 More Man Kind". I think For Us By US sounds powerful, marketable and intriguing, I'd want to check that brand out. Just FUBU, I would skip.
