To work as a model I have made my own compcards, I then mailed them to the agencies and later if the agency was interested I mailed the agency more cards, the agency then uses the cards to market me to their clients. Don't think "the agency" does everything for you and if you are looking for that ...you could actually end up scammed.

Fitting into the print world as a shorter girl means hands on work, and creating photos that best market your assets, beyond height. For an aspiring model, it comes down to a lot of self made behind the scenes production work of preparing photos, shaping your portfolio and being aggressive with mailing your compcards.

Not being afraid of self promotion is key to getting ahead as a short model.
